Noisy Midget Rear Axle/Differential

Has anyone ever developed a fix for the noisy Midget rear 
axle/differential. If it can't be fixed, are there any compatible rear 
axle assemblies that can be bolted in. My Midget had the Datsun 5 speed 
conversion that Bill Perry of Soddy Daisy, TN builds and the only 
irritating thing about driving the car is that incessant racket back 
there (especially with the top up)
