A quote from this morning's paper:

"Research by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration 
indicates that one of every three single-vehicle accidents and almost 70 
percent of multiple-vehicle accidents result from situations in which a 
driver loses control."

I hope not too many researchers were tasked with this study.
