    Hello all;

     After reading all the comments about a B vs a GT, I figured I'd add my 2
cents worth. My first ownership experience was with a GT. It was a 71 and
about as reliable as they come. I was towed home 7 times the first year!! I
had always wanted a MG, but really wasn't too enthused about a hard top.
 Figured it was a good enough deal and bought it anyway. I fell in love with
it despite all the breakdowns, (carried a tow strap with me). But I always
thought I was missing something with that damn roof. Sooo... I bought a MGA
roadster. Bill was wondering if a GT gets hot in the summer. I don't think
anything gets as hot as my feet were when I was stuck in traffic on a hot
summer day with that car. Got stupid, sold the A and bought a B. Now I wish
I had a GT again, along with my B

     There is something that is just better with a GT. The tall windshield
and roof, ( I fit in it a lot better ). It seems that it handled better than
the B. I know it felt stronger. and it was just a lot more practical here in
upstate NY. I think it looks a little better too. As for being hot, I don't
remember being too uncomfortable in it. Seems to me the ventilation was
quite good. I guess that you really can't go wrong with either choice. Just
look for the best deal, take it, and then maybe look for the other and own
them both. Anyone got a nice GT for sale cheap?
