You should consider both the GT and the Roadster but you should make your
choice a '66 or earlier if the emissions game is your main concern. (see this
issue of Moss Motoring for a better explanation). If you're in Texas where
emissions don't figure in, I'd recommend any year of either (I love em both)
that has chrome bumpers, metal dash board with glove box .
Good luck and have fun with it, whatever it turns out to be.
BTW, if the price was right I'd part with my '67 BGT so to better afford the
college thing. Man, going back was tough, but I'm keeping my "A" and my
Bugeye too!.
