Carol -
I don't know where you live, but I found a place in Dallas that
sandblasted _and_ powdercoated my "wars" for $30.00 each. They did an
excellent job - two coats of powercoat. They look great. Powdercoat is
a lot more durable and rust resistant than paint. I had mine done in a
matte silver that really looks like the original paint color. But, they
have most any color you can imagine - just about anything you can get in
paint - including metallic - they can apply in powdercoat. E-mail me if
you want the address. Or, if you aren't in the Dallas area, you should
be able to find powdercoating in your area.

Hey, it's your car. Do what makes you happy. If you never sell it, you
can never be a DPO!
