Thanks, John. Apart from MG restoration, one of my areas of expertise is
the English language. I both speak and write English and I also
understand American. As the past tense of the verb "To Sit" is Sat and
the past tense of the verb "To Spit" is Spat, so the past tense of the
verb "To Shit" is Shat. Example, "the cat shat on the mat".
(I 'll bet that lot will get someone going!)
