Bad Heater Cores

The next time your windscreen fogs with the warm defrost on, run your
finger over the screen and taste the moisture.  If the heater core is bad,
it should taste like antifreeze.  

It may also smell like antifreeze when the heater is on but, if I remember
my B, it pretty much always smelled like antifreeze anyway.
