I like the backroads. So I put off the new paint until next year, and the
MGA needs a new windscreen anyway. Alaska or bust! (Or maybe both).
This remands me, a good addition for the spares bin on this trip would be an
extra headlamp. Also, one might consider fitting rock guards to the
headlamps. Maintaining a generous following distance is no guarantee. Many
broken windshields and headlamps are the result of trucks passing in the
opposite direction.
