As promised, I checked the "Production Changes by Car/
Chassis Numbers" in the "Orginal MGA" ... I found reference
to a change that occured starting with GHNL/93548 in
July of 1960 and another starting with GHNL/96269 in Aug
of 1960 ... so, my guess, you are the proud owner of an
MGA 1600 manufactured in July of 1960 ... if you want exact
production date you can get it, for a fee, from BMIHT.
