I'm bitting the bullet and asking a question that's played in the back of
what passes for my mind for quite some time now. What is the conventional
wisdom on sealed vs. non sealed bearings for wheels? In electric motor
rebuilds we almost always use factory sealed bearings and some of these can
and do run at 3600 rpm, 24 hrs/day, 360 odd days a year for years and years.
So.... why not in a wheel?
I'm prepared to be edified....
