My A has the original, dealer installed Motorola, all transistor, non =
pushbutton, AM radio, with the speaker mounted face down in the radio =
chassis!
If I am within line of sight of a mega watt AM transmit tower, it is =
clear as a bell. That lasts until I start the engine and drive away. =
At that point I get some truly classic static. But can I hear it? Yup! =
Even with the top down, and at 70mph, I can still tell it's static. No =
doubt about it.
