I saw the thread a few days ago about MG chat on AOL. But not all of us
have access to AOL, so I have set up a chat site that anyone with a dail up
connection should be able to use.
I will logon at 6:00 tonight (EST)
1. Download IRC (internet relay chat), its free, http://www.mirc.co.uk.
That should be the right URL. They have different versions for different
your OS. This is a small file and should take no longer that 8 minutes too
download on a 14.4 modem.
2. Run the IRC setup Icon and it will install itself.
3. Run the program after the installation is complete.
4. It will ask to fill out a few things and then a log on screen will
appear with the names of different IRC servers. Click the add button and
for the Discription type MG Chat. And in the next block type
irc.erinet.com
5. Then click the MG Chat text and click the connect button. Then once
connected it will ask you which chat room to join, type---- #mgs
then you will be able to type and join in on the conversation.
