I few days ago, Jim Boyd mentioned that he had moved the fuel pump from an earlier MBG to the trunk. What is involved in doing this and what are the pro's and con's? My rebuilt fuel pump is just waiting for a warm day for me to go out an install it (although I really must paint the engine bay first while the motor is out). I don't mind modifications to originality as long as they make for a more reliable/easier to maintain vehicle) Doug Gaither |
