My 64 B will become my daily driver in the next 2 weeks. This has been my
hobby car for several years and this past month I finally replaced all the
rubber seals on the body and doors. Also I put in a heavy duty suspension and
3/4" anti-sway. Also, installed the upgraded Heater fan basket from SEVEN
Ent. BTW, the fan basket is generic to several lbc's and took some finnagling
to fit it up to the heater box as it is a little oversized for the B box. I'm
starting my own business and am giving up a great company car (currently a 96
Crown Vic LX totally loaded with performance and handling package). I'm
thinking I'm going to leave my Robbins top up all winter. The stow-away
system is just too much of a hassle to mess with daily.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this car as my daily driver. Although I
live in Ventura county,CA we do get some pretty heavy rain storms and
sometimes temps. around low 30's at night. (a big difference from my native
Maine...) OK, I'm fired up for those daily driver stories....I'm looking
forward to this experience. How about some snow and rain stories...its that
time of year.
