Jeff-
I have a MGB. When I was in need of a coil, I asked my local LBC
mechanic what to buy. His response was to buy a coil thru my local NAPA
store. Turns out that coils are pretty generic, with the exception of
the hi-performance coils that have higher output. Unless your car has a
high performance ignition, wires, etc., a high output won't do anything
except cost more. He runs stock replacement coils in his TVR's,
Triumphs, and MG's. Mines been in place and working just fine for three
years.
