I have just finished cleaning up my distributor because the mechanical advance wasn't working. now everything is cleaned up and moves freely, but I don't know where to get replacement springs, any suggestions? Larry 1969 MGB Denver, Co I have a suggestion. At any big parts store there is a mechanical advance rebuild kit for late model GM distributors (I got one for my 82 GM pickup - 350eng) and the kit includes three different sets of springs with different spring rates. Maybe one of these will work for you. Ross |
