The current issue of Moss Motoring explains this exact prob.
1. With engine and parking brake off and vehicle pointed in a safe
direction, use a hydraulic jack to jack up the back end of the car.
You want both wheels off the ground a couple of inches.
2. Get in and shift into high gear. Then start the car and gas up to
1500 RPM.
3. Push in the clutch pedal and keep it in.
4. Gently apply the brakes. This will do it most of the time ,if it
doesn't do the same,clutch in (and no one in front of car!) .At 1500 RPM have
someone snap open the jack and
drop the car. It will lurch forward but the only thing moving the
car is the rust bond because the clutch is in.
Oviously use this at your own descetion!!!!!
