I generally change mine 2x a year... in April and October, when I swap
between my low and high (160degF vs. 180) temperature thermostats.
This is probably excessive. Most modern carmakers recommend a 2-year
change interval. *I* OTOH feel that that is pushing it. I'd settle for
once a year, topping up as necessary.
