Friend of mine did this with his 16 year old son and a 1500 Spit. The kid
could have the Spit, if he did all/most of the work to restore the car.
That car lasted until the kid graduated college earlier this year. I
think the kid sold it and got a Ford Taurus (better in those far northern
NY State winters).
