Thanks for the response, I kinda came to that conclusion but it sure nice to
have someone agree. I have kept them lubed and do smack them on pretty hard.
Also if I detect the "spline klunk" I make sure to retighten them. Thanks
again.

PS When I bought this car, and was driving it home, I attempted to stop for a
red light, when I hit the brakes the front right wheel got on the east bound
I-70 on ramp while I continued northbound (about 15 feet)! Bad spines! :-) Oh
well!
