Newell, One way I've found to fit pesky rubber parts that supposedly "slip" into a hole, such as bump rubbers, is with a piece of heavy twine. Wrap the twine around the grove in the rubber, leaving both ends free. Pass the twin through the hole then lube the rubber lightly with a good rubber lube. Then while applying pressure to the front of the rubber, pull the twine/attachment cone through the hole. It may take a couple of trys, but it will work. Rick MGBGT |
