It seems to me that this thread has gone to a rediculous extreme. At
the time of your oil change, be sure that you have thoroughly drained
the oil (and changed filter if that's your practice). Add the
recommended amount of oil to your system, as required with oil
change plus filter change (or not, as is your practice). Start the
car and warm it up. Turn it off and wait (or don't wait, as is
your practice). Measure oil level. Mark stick with this level.
In the future, measure oil level in the same way - Wait after turning
off warm engine (or don't wait) as before and compare this level with
the previously inscribed mark. Draw conclusions. Act accordingly.
What could be simpler?
