Looking for some net experience....
I had a replecement radiator core installed about eight years ago. The shop
used the typical three row, 11 fins per inch, VT core. I want to improve
colling beyond that standard replacement.
Does anyone have experience with either a:
1. Four row, HE, 14 fin per inch core
2. Five row, HE, 14 fin per inch core
After some very detailed discussion, the radiator shop owner said we could
reach the point of dimishing returns when the loss of CFMs through the core
due to more air flow resistance, ever though we have more surface, etc., and
that actual experience would be better than any calculations we might come up
with, although I plan on a technical discussion with Modine today. They
manufacture the cores.
