Late model B's had a electronic ignition. My 77 had a amplifier mounted on the firewall. As long as it worked, it was fine. It began to overheat, which resulted in the ignition system cutting out. Characterized by coming back to life after 15 minutes or so. Crane markets an excellent replacement. Sold through all the normal sources. Regards, MGBChris@aol.com |
