Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question as to
why no rubber bumper GT's but I can pass this along
to you.......if you are going to Indy you will see a 74 1/2
blue MGB GT that will leave you breathless.  It is a 
restoration by our club resident "B" guru, mechanic
magician.  Jim's bringing it in from Lancaster, N.Y. and
is a member of the B.O.A. (Buffalo Octagon Association)
The cars coming off of the assembly line DID NOT look
this good!    Look for it.....
