So here it is: 1970 red MGB, Calif. car brought to Massachusetts in 1992,
extensively modified and improved, with more than $15,000--yes, that's
Fifteen Thousand-- in documented performance and reliability mods installed,
PLUS a $2,000 full motor rebuild in summer of 1990, using a 1967 block and
head. 29,000 or so miles on rebuilt motor, and less than 2,000 miles on
refinished head (milled .005, shaped combustion chambers, polished and
port-matched, also manifolds polished out). Body is good and solid, although
it could use a respray soon. Also included is set of Yokohama A008 R-1
tires, size 195/60-14, (road-race compound) on extra set of "Minilite" alloy
wheels. A set of Hoosier 185/55-14 AutoCrosser tires with only 4 events on
