MGB flywheel

Hello:

I am rebuilding a three-main 1800cc Series "B" and I wonder if anyone has had
experience lightening the flywheel on these engines. I don't want to do
anything radical, but I wonder if removing two to three pounds from the wheel
would improve the rev-ability without creating any finicky habits?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
