Name of (now more than broke) Bugatti owner who took over Lotus using many
other peoples' money is Romano Artioli (whose granddaughter's name is Elise,
coincidentally).
Long article on page 4 of Autoweek May 20 about the firing of 50% of the
Lotus Cars USA staff (6 of 12;how many people does it take to sell 150 cars a
year?).  
Cheers for Lotus having escaped from the mad financier.  One hopes they will
be able to get a more sensible buyer.
