To All,
Thanks to everyone who replied to the Moral Question Dilemma. I
whole-heartedly agree with everyone's opinion on the sanctity of the Serial
Number. I just didn't like *******for personal reasons******** having the
number not match the actual car. You see everytime I want to buy an MG to
restore it's always red for some reason.
Since it has always hit me as unfortunate that there was never a good
BRG for the 1500 MGA's I decided to find an MG color that was offered by the
factory on special orders in those days. I have found that Woodland Green
(Ditzler Number 2246) which is a T-series color was available on special
request.
So here as my restoration winds down I look forward to motoring in my
BRG 1500 Roadster with the Tan leather interior. So take the points off if
you want I have a story to tell while I'm out there with a non-Red MG.
P.S I converted the thing to RHD too with the help of Moss UK.
