Miata owners are chumps.
The only time you ever see a Miata with the top down is when it came from
the factory that way. That or the driver has been goaded into it by the
passenger . . . who invariably owns an LBC.
Isn't it strange how owners of modern convertibles refuse to put the top
down, even though the engineers went to great lengths to make it as easy as
possible (Flip, flip, zwoop!), but LBC owners will go through a hideously
complicated procedure as soon as the rain lets up enough?
Wait. I take that back. The VW cabriolet owners have my respect. They're
pretty good about dropping the top.
