I can't help but wonder if perhaps it was the US that, by percentages of
purchase, kept the B alive at all, regardless of how silly the "safety" laws
may be, after the mid-70's. I don't have any figures in front of me, but
wouldn't US B sales have to be awfully high to merit such a change to what
was, I'm sure, a very reluctant design staff at Leyland?
Just throwing out more theories... :)
