Mark II seats are about the same, I think, but hard to find. Later seats
are thicker and reduce legroom. I find the bugeye seats comfortable. I
have a spare pair, but they are probably little better than the ones you
have. I passed up a very nice pair last summer (kicking myself) for
about $150.
