That's happened to a lot of 77-80 B's. Really weirds you out when
it happens. Gad. Nowhere but within a circle of MG owners
would you mention such a bizarre problem and get the reply, "been
there done that."
Ya know, just for funsies I think I'll put the bad diode back in
and see how badly it would flummox a regular garage. Watch them
stand around scratching their butts when they can't find a port
for hitching up the diagnostic computer. Hee hee hee.
