I can only speak from my own experience regarding the Grose Jet after nearly
10 years of daily driving with twin HIF SU's. 

I had standard needle valves for about five years. I read all the propaganda
about Grose Jet and when I rebuilt the SU's, I replaced the standard valves
with grose Jets. 

I had three problems with them in as many months not seating (yes, I had a
new fuel filter immediately ahead of them). I ordered new standard valves and
replaced them 5 years ago. No flooding problems since.
