Yeah, but did you also read (a couple of months back) that the same guy
crashed and totalled a brand new McLaren F1, that BMW had just bought
(because it uses the BMW V12)? He was the first to drive it when they got
it and his drive didn't last very long. He crashed into a tree or field
on a small country road with a barely visible curve. I figure he must
have gone well in excess of 120mph.
He just brished it off "...$1 Million is nothing for BMW..." or something
to that effect. Investigations by german traffic police were
"inconclusive"... They are usually very good at determining speed after
an accident.
So maybe that's what he meant with his comment about british cars: BMW
should have bought two F1 for him in the first place!
