Moving other things can affect camber (like lowering the springs, etc.).

Actually, I believe that they do. Scott Fisher wrote a nice
article on MGB front suspension a while back. As I recall,
the postive camber was part of the "safety" part of the
"safety fast" slogan. I think it helps induce understeer
when pushed hard.

Find a race prep shop and get them to do it - I used to use Lambros
Race Engineering, but that won't help you since they're in St. Louis.
I really don't know who's out in your area, but you might ask the
road racers or check the SCCA newsletters.
