I redid my brakes when I built (rebuilt) my B a few years ago. It's now
getting close to the time when I will need to redo the brakes again. I've
worked on the car now for about 7 years and it finally is next to trouble
free (I know I shouldn't think thoughts like that out loud!), and I'm
finding that the longer I have it and the longer it runs well, the more I
really don't feel like working on it. So, my question to the group is,
should I trust a brake specialist to do a brake job for me and just pay for
it like the majority of the world does, or should I find a weekend where I'm
feeling either very antsy or bored, and do the work myself. The older I get,
it seems, the easier it is to just pay someone else to do work and enjoy the
benefits of that work without having to do it myself? What do you think?
Thanks,
