This may be unfair question for this list, but since you folks are so damn
smart, I can't see posting it anywhere else.
Would you recommend a 20w50 for my 1990 Mitsubishi Galant, as well?
I'm experiencing an odd pinging sounds that goes away after about 5
minutes. I've also considered using 1 quart of synthetic.
Any comments? flames? bad language?

Subject: Re: which oil to use?
Tom,
IMHO go with the Castro 20w-50. Regardless of what you decide to use stay
with the same oil viscosity and brand. The Castrol 20w-50 gives you a better
range of temperature protection under most conditions except for the most
severe on both ends of the scale.
