Waxoyl seems to work as well as any other rust treatment. What makes
a greater difference for most people is the method of application.
Forget using spray cans or the hand pumps, these are a waste of
money. They will at best produce a patchy coverage, the type of rust
preservative is less important then making sure it gets to all the
right places.
The only was I have found of getting decent coverage is the
use a compressor, spray gun and the correct large diameter spray
nozzle. The nozzle should be on a long enough length of tubing to
get right to the ends of the sills and chassis legs. Dont be afraid
to drill holes to gain access where neccesary - a small drilled hole
is better than a large rust hole.
