I have Michelein XZX's on my 79 B and just had a flat in one.  While 
Michelein no longer sells this tire,  the mold was purchased by some 
tire comany back east (Indiana?)...can't remember the name.  They are 
still building this tire, it's a bit expensive at around $90, but my 
choice was one tire at $90 (to replace a tire w/less than 5k mi.) or 
4 new tires.  If anyone is interested in the name of the tire co., I 
could probably dig thru my records.
