I think you have nailed the problem on the head...sloppy desmogging and vacuum leak. The EGR valve plumbing may be screwed up, or the throttle shafts...you can check the shafts with the wiggle test while still on the car, if they are *really* bad you can feel them move! Doesn't sound like a serious problem, as much as a tuning problem, but you can use it to crowbar the price down... :-) |
