you can use a convertor from r.s. or anywhere else, they work ok. However, you may notice a whine in your speaker like a bad plug whine, only even with the ignition off, using a converter because of how they work. I'd still consider doing it right and converting the whole car, it isnt hard, just some wire swapping, one big spark at the generator, and a snip and solder job in the tach. The moss catalog is very enlightening regarding this job, should take an hour at worst and it's free! |
