Tube shock conversions

I recently read somewhere, in one of the many newsletters I receive as a
newsletter editor myself, a horror story of poor quality tube shock
conversions for the MGB.  The author claimed that he discovered fractures in
the materials after short use that nearly lead to catastrophic failure.

Does anyone have a copy of this to post on the list?

It doesn't affect me, as I never plan to make this conversion anyway.
