Flashers will not flash if the bulbs are not the correct wattage. The current in the circuit must be high enough to heat up the bimetal flasher strip in the flasher can. If insufficient current is flowing the bulbs will light but not flash. Unfortuantely lower wattage auto bulbs will fit the sockets and few bulbs seem to be marked with their wattage. For my 76B the requirement is 21 watts per bulb. The Sylvania spec book lists MG's and the correct bulb number. Tom Anderson |
