       Benjamin,
                 Have you tried the MG Owners Club in Britain for you heat 
       shield? Since the US-spec 1500s came with a single Zenith-Stromberg, 
       this part would best be sourced in the UK. The MG Owners Club spares 
       phone number is 0954 230928 - FAX 0954 231923. I've had better luck 
       with spares from England via telephone, that way they can tell me 
       RIGHT NOW what they have/what I need. You might try Ron Hopkinson or 
       M&G International, unfortunately their numbers are not handy.
