The ramifications of putting a neg.ground radio into a positive ground car
are the same as when you put a wet finger into a live, exposed light
socket...sparks, loud noises, then *dead silence*...
The conversion isn't tough...if you you know enough electronics to pick up a
soldering iron from the correct end, you can do it. See the Moss catalog for
the gory details, which involve snipping and re-soldering a wire in your
tach, plus changing battery polarity and reversing the primary leads on your
coil.
