Won't an original type fit somehow? Aren't most alternators of a similar
size? If it's a packaging problem isn't it the mounting position that has
to change? And what do you mean by a 'one wire'? I've seen at least two
definitions of this - really only one wire, the output wire, which means you
lose the diagnostics of the warning light (and how is the alternator
excited?) and "No I mean one wire plus the indicator wire"!
