I have been looking a possible Ford pistons that could be used in place of the
3.9 Rover slugs. The numbers are Silv-O-lite part numbers. Some look real
interesting at +.020 or .030. Not sure how applicable without more info on
wrist pin location. Probably would require some machining of piston tops? My
understanding is that it is okay to increase to the Ford wrist pin bore of
.912. Also, these seem to be not be available in hypereutectic. Haven't
checked on forged.
