Smoothline has a fiberglass C hood that would probably work.
Also, their fiberglass B hood doesn't have the support bar in
the middle, that may be enough room.
This is hear say. I don't have one of their hoods, or even known
if I've seen one.
And I agree, I like the look of the RV8.

It won't fit....so I'm left debating. Bulge or machine? I really like the RV8 style bonnet, smooth, simple, and not too obnoxious. This plenum cover has not been machined yet; so I'm not too concerned with machining it to fit. According to the Williams BV8 book you have to machine the middle section with the trumpets and the plenum cover. Oh well, I'll be playing with the MegaSquirt/3.9 combo for a while before I have to make a final decision.

Very cool!
Will the plenum fit under a regular bonnet? I seem to remember
the RV8 having a power buldge.
Keep us updated on the Megasquirt.

Where do you get 'em? Which hoses?
TIA!
In other news, I just got my big holiday present in, an MG RV8
plenum cover.
Way too sexy. Just the thing for all those big 'Mercan car
folks who
say "what
kinda engine you got in that thang?" Also, a MegaSquirt
update:
I've got the ECU
built and tested, and have a 3.9 on a test stand sitting in my
barn/workshop waiting
for an oil change, wiring harness, and some minor bits.
