The oil gauge in the 77-80 MGBs are connected to an oil pipe (435-435) that
goes to a connector (180-245) and then on to another pipe (376-180). Into
the connector a switch (141-715) is screwed in. Page 96 in Moss catalog Fall Issue 2 - 0310 My questions are: Does the switch just screw in without a washer?. I find that it does not screw down onto a shoulder so a washer cannot be used. Can the switch be used to activate an oil pressure failure light? It says it is for an ant-run on valve! Its location is better than running a wire from the oil pump!!!
